This course is designed to develop the computer science skills of algorithm development, problem solving and programming. A wide range of skills will be developed in the class including; 3D
animation and an introduction to Java program development structure, (Alice Software), VEX Robotics Programming, Java Script, Python programming and HTML code with web page development. A portfolio will be developed and used to showcase all of the major projects completed. This class will be taught through individual/team projects and hands-on assignments. Upon completion of this course students will have a strong foundation to take to the AP Computer Science course, Game Design, and any high level programming course.
