Work permits are processed in the Assistant Principal's Office during the school term. You can find a work permit application here, or printed copies are available in the Assistant Principal's Office. Permit applications must be signed by the applicant's parent/guardian and filled out and signed by the employer before the permit can be issued.

Submit your completed application to Kathleen Reyes, AP Secretary, either in person at Student Services, or by email kathleen.reyes@sduhsd.net

Please allow at least 2 school days for processing. You will receive notification to your school email when your official work permit is ready for pick up.

Students must be present with identification when the work permit is issued. Incomplete forms cannot be processed and will delay the issuing of the Work Permit.

Students may not work until the Work Permit has been completed.

Entertainment work permits are processed by our Registrar.
