Grad Nite

Grad Nite

Grad Nite is a party held on the CCA campus where all graduating seniors are invited to celebrate graduation with their classmates. This all-volunteer, parent-driven effort provides a safe and sober environment where seniors can relax and celebrate the night of their high school graduation. They feel at home on campus with their CCA family.  Our committee brings in tons of entertainment and food.  We transform the campus.  There really is NO better Grad Party in the District!
Mark your calendar!  Grad Nite is Friday, May 29th, 9PM - 2AM*
*to keep everyone safe, all grads must be dropped off and picked up by an adult family member.

GRAD NITE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Grad Nite is planned, executed and staffed by parent volunteers. It takes many hands to make Grad Nite a success!   This is an all community, volunteer opportunity.
  • Senior Parents - We need you to volunteer for Grad Nite! More than 80% of seniors typically attend.  Volunteer with your friends and celebrate together!  We can always find a job for you even if your student says "NO".  You can work behind the scenes or at clean up.  Tell your senior that your participation is vital to continuing our amazing CCA Grad Nite tradition.
  • Freshman, Sophomore & Junior Parents - Join or Co-Chair a Grad Nite Committee! We need you for Grad Nite!!  Parents of seniors are attending graduation on event day and often have family in town.  We need extra help Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during the last week of school.
  • Click here to fill out our Volunteer Google Form
Once you are on our list, you will receive our Sign-Up Genius links with our volunteer slots in April, May and June via the email that you provide.
Academic Honor Cords

Academic Honor Cords

Pursuant to the San Dieguito Union High School District policy, seniors are selected for academic honor cords based on their Cumulative, Unweighted GPA of 3.7 or higher. The determination is based on each senior's grade point average at the end of the Fall term (second quarter).
The second quarter grades have been posted to transcripts and Cumulative GPAs can be viewed in Aeries under Grades > Transcripts.
Please note that this GPA may change after the 3rd Quarter grades are posted, which will not affect cord eligibility.
Seniors who qualify will be awarded an academic cord to wear at graduation, which will be distributed with the caps and gowns.
