T-shirt Contest
Encourage your senior to design this year's Grad Nite T-shirt. Every student attending Grad Nite will be wearing their design!!! Cash prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Click here for competition details. The submission deadline is Friday, April 19th.
 
Digital Memory Boards
  • Create one powerpoint slide for your graduate in aspect ratio 16:9
    use MS PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Apple Keynote (googleslide easiest)
  • Save the file in .pptx format to your computer link to ppt slide template for download
  • No videos please, do not exceed 5MB, aspect ratio 16:9
  • File name should be Student's FirstName-LastName.pptx
  • Deadline: May 15, 2019

Cap and Gown pickup is on Saturday, June 8th from 1-3 pm.
 
Graduation rehearsal (mandatory) is on Thursday, 6/13, at 12:15 pm. 
 
Graduation for the Class of 2019 is Friday, June 14th 1:30 pm in Raven Stadium! Stadium opens at 12:00 pm and parking opens at 11:00 am. Seniors must arrive by 12:30 pm.

CAPS & GOWNS

Caps and Gowns can be purchased or rented at Sdgrad.com. The deadline for ordering loaner gown and cap is 5/1/19. Rented caps and gowns must be returned in reusable condition. You cannot purchase cap or tassel separately. Cost to purchase a cap and gown is $28. Additional packages are available through SD GRAD.

GRADUATION PHOTOGRAPHY

Graduation photography is available for purchase through the CCA Foundation. All photography money stays on campus to support student programs. Other benefits of purchasing graduation photography:

  • Unlimited downloads - make prints your way
  • You live the moment and leave the “perfect shot” to us 
  • Exclusive “behind-the-scenes” candid moments 
  • Photographers are CCA alums and members of our CCA community
  • Student interns get to “shadow” photographers and gain professional experience
Cost: $45 (compare with $110+ charged by for profit company)

*Bundle with Reserved Parking and Seating (RPS) or buy separately
 
 

ARRIVING TO GRADUATION - SENIORS

Seniors must report to the lower amphitheater with cap & gown no later than 12:30 pm. Seniors should either carpool or be dropped off in order to conserve as many parking spots as possible for family/friends.
 
 

PARKING

  • Free parking will be available in the student lot & the staff lot.
  • Need a handicapped parking spot? The best lot to use is the student lot; however, each of the three lots includes handicapped spots and all three lots will also include a golf cart provided by CCA to help those who need assistance.
  • The administration/visitor's lot will be accessible only to those who have purchased an advanced parking space through the CCA Foundation/Grad Nite.
 

SEATING

  • Seating will be available in the bleachers, as well as on the field. No standing in aisles or in front of the stage.
  • CCA Graduation is open to the public, we do not issue tickets
  • Raven Stadium includes men’s & women’s restrooms as well as a concession stand with water to be sold by CCA ASB.
  • NO high heels are allowed to be worn on the turf field and track - this includes graduates and family & friends. You may wear wedges.
  • Out of respect for all guests, umbrellas, balloons, signs and any other items that may obstruct anyone’s view will not be allowed during the graduation ceremony.
 

DIPLOMA DISTRIBUTION

  • Diplomas are distributed after the ceremony at tables between the gym and the tennis courts.

SENIOR WEEK ACTIVITIES

 
MONDAY 6/10
  • Monday is a normal school day and the final day to complete senior check-out.
  • Senior Grill and Chill , 5-8 pm Upper/ Lower quads and lunch area.
TUESDAY 6/11
  • Disneyland, 7:50  am departure from CCA and 10:00 pm return (leave Disneyland @ 8 pm) 
  • Includes ticket and mandatory buses.
WEDNESDAY 6/12
  • Yearbook Signing and Donuts,10:30 am, Proscenium Amphitheater 
  • Get Air Trampoline Park, 7:00-10:00 pm, all inclusive with purchase of Passport. Past events have included Skate Nite, Laser Tag, etc.
THURSDAY 6/13
  • Lunch and Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal at 11:30 am. 
    **Caps and Gowns will be distributed on Saturday, June 8th, from 1-3pm.
FRIDAY 6/14
  • Graduation at 1:30 pm, Seniors must arrive before 12:30 pm.

PURCHASING SENIOR PASSPORTS FOR SENIOR WEEK ACTIVITIES

Step 1: Complete two forms (Senior Week Passport Contract and Disneyland Permission form, available on the ASB website: here: http://www.ccaasb.com/senior-week.html 
 
Step 2: Turn those forms in to the Finance Office. 
 
Step 3: Pay at the Finance Office or on the ASB Webstore.

YEARBOOK

There's still time to purchase your senior yearbook.  Cost is $100/$105 and can be purchased at the finance office.  Distribution will be the first week in June.
