2023 GRADUATION cEREMONY
The Graduation Ceremony for the class of 2023 will be held on Friday June 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the stadium. It lasts about 1.5 hours.
Tickets are not required and there are no limits on the number of guests per graduate.

Canyon Crest Parents and Seniors
Before Winter Break, seniors should have received a packet in their Government or Economics class from San Diego Graduate Supply detailing options for cap & gown purchase or loan for Graduation on Friday, 6/2/2023, as well as graduation announcements and other senior class and graduation products. If your student was not enrolled last term in Gov/Econ, there are extra packets in the ASB Finance Office and the front reception desk or a Digital Order Sheet below. All of the information can additionally be found online at SDGrad.com.
San Diego Graduate Supply is the vendor agreed upon by the San Dieguito Union High School District to offer these products to our families. The standard “Cap, Gown and Tassel” package is $35. Please note that the “loaner” option for the cap & gown can be ordered starting on March 1st and is available on the middle insert of the packet or through the vendor website (no cost to you, cap & gown must be returned in reusable condition to qualify, no customization of caps or ordering of parts separately allowed). SD Grad will be on campus on Thursday, 2/9/23, at lunch with a table across from the lunch lines to answer any questions or collect physical order forms. You can also manage your orders at their website.

Grad Nite
Grad Nite
Every year, CCA seniors look forward to Grad Nite as a culmination of their high school experience. Hosted by parent volunteers and held on the CCA campus, Grad Nite is a safe, sober, fun HUGE late-night party for all seniors, complete with food, music, entertainment, friend and lots of memories. It is always highly-attended and anticipated.
Mark your calendar! Grad Nite is Friday, June 2nd, 10PM - 2AM*
*to keep everyone safe, all grads must be dropped off and picked up by an adult family member.

Academic Honor Cords
Academic Honor Cords
Pursuant to the San Dieguito Union High School District policy, seniors are selected for academic honor cords based on their Cumulative, Unweighted GPA of 3.7 or higher. The determination is based on each senior's grade point average at the end of the Fall term (second quarter). Please check the gpa prior to the end of the third quarter to see if the criterion is met. If seniors qualifiy, they will be awarded an academic cord to wear at graduation, which will be picked up with the cap and gown. This message was sent to seniors and their families on 1/30/23:

SDUHSD Honor Cord Policy:
Pursuant to the San Dieguito Union High School District policy, seniors are selected for academic honor cords based on their Cumulative, Unweighted GPA of 3.7 or higher. The determination is based on each senior's grade point average at the end of the Fall term (second quarter).
The second quarter grades have been posted to transcripts and Cumulative GPAs can be viewed in Aeries under Grades > Transcripts.

Please note that this GPA may change after the 3rd Quarter grades are posted, which will not affect cord eligibility.
Seniors who qualify will be awarded an academic cord to wear at graduation, which will be distributed with the caps and gowns.
