2021 Graduation Ceremonies Safety Guidelines and Details

On Friday June 11, there will be two ceremonies:
Ceremony #1 @ 10:00 AM
Ceremony #2 @ 1:30 PM
Both Ceremonies will be live streamed.
The ceremonies will be held outdoors, in the CCA Stadium, and the field setup will look like this: 2021 Ceremonies Seating Chart
  • Masks will be required for all attendees
  • Graduates will be seated on the turf, socially distanced.
  • Seating has been randomly assigned.
  • Guest household groups of 4 will have assigned sections in the bleachers or in chairs at field level, socially distanced from other household groups. When you arrive at your assigned section, please select any group of 4 seats for your household.  Available bleacher seating is designated by a 7 ft. strip of tape for each household unit of 4.  Field section seating chairs will be zip tied in groups of 4.
  • Tickets will be issued to the graduate with their Cap and Gown pickup on 6/5/21, or be available for pickup at the reception desk in the Administration building.
  • Tickets will be required for guests to enter the stadium.  Tickets will be distributed as one sheet, with 4 tickets.  They can be cut horizontally if guests are arriving separately.
  • Tickets are printed with specific ceremony times, and are only good for that one ceremony.  Guests may only attend the one ceremony that their senior will participate in, either morning or afternoon.
  • Arrival to Graduation will be from the Student Parking lot one hour prior to each ceremony, physical distancing and masks are required:
    • Guests will access the Stadium from the student lot at the two entrances at the top of the bleachers.  Please enter the Student parking lot from the entrance on Edgewood Bend Ct. Due to the fact that class is in session, access through campus is not allowed
    • Graduates will enter through the gate to the access road between the stadium and the gym.
  • Guests must go directly to their assigned seats and remain there for the duration of the ceremony.
  • Guests will not be allowed on to the stadium field or near the stage before, during, or after the ceremony. Guests are not allowed to approach the processional, ceremony, or recessional for photos or for any reason.
  • Professional photographers will be at the event. A link to order photos can be found on the Senior page of the CCA website, or here:
  • After the ceremony graduates will recess off the field together towards the gym access road.  Guests will exit the way they entered the stadium and meet their grads in the parking lot or an offsite location.
  • Pursuant to CDPH Guidance:
    • Persons who are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19 (e.g. due to age or underlying conditions) are discouraged from attending.
    • Individuals who are sick, in isolation, or quarantine must remain at home.
